BUTUAN CITY – Grupo na sa Filipino Chinese of Commerce ang personal nga nisusi sa Public Private Partnership (PPP) Treated Bulk Water Project sa Sitio Iyao, Barangay Anticala ning siyudad.

Hisayran nga ang maong grupo ang isa sa nakahatag kontribusyon sa paglihok sa ekonomiya ning siyudad diin nagtukod og daghang negosyo nga nakahatag trabaho sa mga Butuanon ug Agusanon.

Sumala ni Butuan City Water District (BCWD) Senior Public Relations Officer Ramil S. Barquin, nangayo og kasegurohan ang maong grupo sa gipatumang proyekto nga gikonsidera nga maoy malahutayong solusyon sa dugay nang suliran sa suplay sa tubig.

Dugang ni Barquin, gipasabot usab ni GM Anselmo Sang Tian ang maong grupo sa mga bentaha nga ihatod ngadto sa mga konsumidor.

Lakip usab sa gipatin-aw sa water district ngadto sa grupo ang kabililhon sa pagpanalipod sa tinubdan sa tubig ug sa mga lakang gihimo batok sa posibleng epekto sa Strong El Niño.

“In a briefing with Filipino Chinese of Commerce held at Butuan City Water District (BCWD), Engr. Reden Mejorada, OIC of BCWD Production & Distribution Department, informed the participants that the Moderate El Niño has become Strong El Niño, based on DOST-Pagasa El Niño Advisory #7, which will last until June 2016. He said BCWD has formulated action plan to adapt with the effects of El Niño phenomenon, following the Memorandum of Local Water Utilities Administration to all water districts nationwide. Also discussed in the briefing were issues on watershed conservation and protection by BCWD Forester Arnell Basnillo and the advantage of Public Private Partnership (PPP) Treated Bulk Water Project by GM Anselmo Sang Tian, the group proceeded to the project site in Iyao, Anticala,” pahayag ni Barquin.
