BAKWIT. Nag-antos pagpuyo sa evacuation center tungod sa buhat sa Bagani Forces.

BUTUAN CITY – Bunga sa kagubot nga nahitabo sa Surigao del Sur nga binuhatan sa naghuramentado nga Bagani Forces, nanawagan na ang Diocese sa Tandag sa pagpanguna ni Bishop Most Rev. Nereo P. Odchimar, DD, JCD sa tanang magtutuong Katoliko nga ipadayon ang pag-ampo ngadto sa mga biktima.

Sa sulat pamahayag ni Director-Indigenous Peoples Apostolate Fr. Fortunato A. Estillore, DCT, angay tabangan ang mga kaigsuonang lumad sa pag-ampo aron makab-ot ang tinuod nga hustisya, kalinaw, ug kaluwasan sa mga nahisgotan.

Dugang ni Fr. Estillore, angayan nga ipadayon ang paghatag tabang sa mga biktima kinsa hangtod karon, anaa pa nagpabilin sa evacuation center sa Tandag City Sports Complex.

“We also call on all faithful to continue praying for justice, peace and deliverance of our Lumad brothers and sisters and to continue giving help because until now, they are still in the evacuation center at the Tandag City Sports Complex,” awhag ni Fr. Estillore.

Odchimar, DD, JCD, struggle to worship the Living God in the spirit and truth by helping to raise up the downtrodden, healing the wounds caused by division, comforting the grief of the families and Lumad communities who are suffering so much today,” dugang sa maong pari.

Nanawagan usab ang Diocese sa Tandag pinaagi sa Indigenous Peoples Apostolate nga ipadayon sa hingtungdang ahensya sa goberno ang pagpangita sa kamatuoran ug ipadayon ang patas nga imbestigasyon sa ingon kahatagan og hustisya ang mga biktima; angayan usab nga dakpon sa kapulisan ug militar sa hinanaling panahon ang mga suspetsado aron mataral sa hukmanan; ug dis-armahan ang mga bandido nga naglibot-suroy sa probensya sanglit naghatag lamang kini og kagubot ingon man hulga sa kinabuhi sa mga lumad lakip na ang mga sibilyan ug negosyo.

“The Diocese of Tandag through the Indigenous Peoples Apostolate continue to call to agencies of our government who are tasked, (a) to continue the truthful and impartial investigation to give justice to the victims, (b) for the police and soldiers to immediately arrest and bring to trial the suspects; and (c) disband these bandit armed groups that roam our province because they bring chaos and threat to lives not only of the Lumad but also to civilians and businesses,” panawagan sa Diocese of Tandag.
