BUTUAN CITY – Naneguro ang kadumalahan sa Butuan City Water District (BCWD) kon duna bay katumanan ang saad sa tagdumala sa Taguibo Aquatic Solutions Corporation (TASC) nga adiser mahuman ang kasamtangang tuig, matilawan na ang serbisyo.

Subay niini, subleng nagpahigayon og inspeksyon ang Board of Directors (BOD) sa water district sa pagpanguna ni General Manager Engr. Anselso Sang Tian sa Public-Private Partnership (PPP) Treated Bulk Water Project nga nahimutang sa Sitio Iyao, Brgy Anticala ning siyudad adtong Lunes.

Ang maong lakang gihimo human nakasinati sa sunod-sunod nga mga pag-ulan sa Watershed Area nga maoy hinungdan sa pagkawala sa suplay sa tubig sa pipila ka bahin ning siyudad.

Gikomperma ni BCWD Senior Public Relations Officer Ramil S. Barquin, naglaum ang kadumalahan sa water district nga ang maong proyekto maoy makahatag sulbad sa dugay nang suliran sa suplay sa tubig diin mawala kini panahon sa ting-ulan.

Nilawas nga nakita sa grupo ang construction site diin ang dam, anaa na sa 58% samtang 98% na ang accomplishment sa sand filtration facility.

“BCWD Board of Directors and Management inspected yesterday the Public-Private Partnership (PPP) Treated Bulk Water Project at the Taguibo River in Iyao, Anticala. Accomplishment of the project, which is expected to finally solve the perennial problem of water supply interruptions during rainy days, is 58% for the dam and 98% for the sand filtration facility. The Taguibo Aquatic Solutions Corporation (TASC), BCWD’s partner company that undertakes the project is working double time to complete the construction of the facilities by December this year,” mensahe ni Barquin.
