Justice for Lumad, Suportado sa AFP

BUTUAN CITY – Suportado sa Armadong Kusog sa Pilipinas ang panawagan sa militanteng grupo nga kab-uton ang hinanaling hustisya sa kamatayon ni ALCADEV Executive Director Emerito “Emok” Samarca.

Lakip matod pa nga angay hatagan og hustisya kadtong mga lumad nga biktima sa pagpangdaugdaug sa New Peoples Army (NPA).

Sa mensahe nga gipaabot sa 4^th Infantry Division, Philippine Army pinaagi sa Philippine Information Agency (PIA) Caraga, tinguha sa kasundalohan nga kahatagan sa tino nga hustisya ang mga biktima.

Angay usab matod pa manubag ang NPA sa pagpatay kang Datu Ricardo M. Sulhayan, 37 anyos, lider sa tribong Higaonon, nga nagpuyo sa Sitio Mimbahandi, Barangay Camagong, Nasipit Agusan del Norte.

Army PRESS STATEMENT) We sympathize on the call for justice for the death of Emerito “Emok” Samarca in the same way that we call for justice for many Lumads who have been victims of NPA atrocities. Just recently, the New Peoples Army killed another tribal leader, Datu Ricardo M. Sulhayan, 37 years old, married, and a tribal chieftain of a Higaonon tribe in Sitio Mimbahandi, Barangay Camagong, Nasipit Agusan del Norte was killed by the NPA last  October 7, 2015.”

Gipaabot usab sa militar ang hugtanong pag-awhag sa mga raliyesta nga magbaton og respeto sa kampo sa kasundalohan diin dihang nagpahigayon matod pa kini og protesta atol ika-40 ka adlaw nga kasumaran sa kamatayon ni Samarca, gibandalan ang paril sa Kampo Bancasi.

Pamugos sa militar, ang bandalismo usa ka kasong kriminal ug ang maong buhat, dili makatabang pagkab-ot sa hustisya nga gipangandoy.

Hugtanon usab matod pa sila nga nisuporta sa kapulisan aron lamang madakpan ang mga kriminal nga nipatay ni Samarca ug kaubanan.

Angay usab nga sundon ang balaud aron maseguro ang batakang katungod, pagtahod, kalinaw, ug kahapsay.

“However, on the 40^th Day of the death of Emok Samarca, the protesters who went to the AFP camp in Butuan City must have civility to respect other people’s properties. Vandalism is a criminal offense. It is an open defiance to rule of law and this act does not lead us to the justice that we are all seeking for. We are for the rule of law. Hence, we take active part in supporting the PNP for its law enforcement operations to bring killer suspects to justice. We call on the people to put our faith on our justice system of law to ensure that basic rights are respected and, peace and order prevail.”
